Cecilia Tsang

Partner & Attorney Cecilia Tsang

Cecilia Tsang is a Partner at the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt. Her practice primarily focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Mediation and Conservatorships.

Cecilia grew up in Roseville, California. Her parents nicknamed her “chatterbox” early on and encouraged her to direct her love of talking and public speaking towards obtaining a law degree. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Davis. She knew as early as law school that she wanted to become a Trusts and Estates attorney, and has over two decades of experience practicing within her chosen field.

Cecilia is an accomplished public speaker and is invited frequently to educate clients as well as professionals in related fields about Trusts and Estates. Her goal is to serve as a valuable resource to her clients and professional partners through the education she provides.

Cecilia is a member of the State Bar of California and Sacramento County Bar Association.

She also believes strongly in giving back to the greater Sacramento community. She has served as Founder, President, and Executive Director of the Firebreathers in Training Club, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps girls from underserved and at-risk groups build self-esteem and self-confidence using fitness and physical activities to learn to set and accomplish goals. She has also served on the board of directors for the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce.

During her free time, Cecilia enjoys spending time with her family and feeding her pickleball addiction.

Why I Became an Attorney:

“Unlike most Trust and Estate attorneys, I knew I wanted to practice in this area of law before I finished law school. I realized that the relationship a Trust and Estate attorney has with their clients and their families is closer and more enjoyable than in any other legal field. I love hearing clients’ stories. In this area of law, it is all about the families, their relationships, and finding ways to help clients navigate a very stressful and emotional time in their lives with compassion and pragmatism. The biggest compliment any client can pay me is saying I have provided them with peace of mind for their family.”
