A graduate of McGeorge School of Law, Daniel A. Hunt is lead attorney and owner of the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt. He is a State Bar of California Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. In 2019, he was named Best of the Bar by Sacramento Business Journal. In 2019 and 2020, he was named a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
Mr. Hunt is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Sacramento Estate Planning Council. He has served as President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Probate and Estates section of the Sacramento County Bar Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento County Bar Association.
Mr. Hunt lectures widely on estate planning topics, and is regularly a featured speaker at National Business Institute seminars. He serves in the Estate Planning Clinic run by the Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California. He also serves as court-appointed counsel for the Sacramento County Probate Court.
In the past, Mr. Hunt has served as president of the BYU Management Society (Sacramento Chapter) and on the executive committee for the Golden Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
He loves spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
Michael J. Anderson graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University. He obtained his Masters Degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. In 1982, he was admitted to the California State Bar and established his estate planning practice shortly thereafter. With over 35 years of experience in the field, Mr. Anderson has received an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell® for his professionalism and ethics.
Craig A. Harris manages our Estate Planning and Trust Administration & Probate Departments. He graduated with Distinction from McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in Business Law. During law school, he was a member of the Traynor Society and Moot Court Honors Board. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Brigham Young University. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing almost any sport, and playing board games.
Paul Grow is a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer and Department Manager of the Estate Administration Department. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, with Concentrations in Business and Taxation. He also earned his Mediation Certification. During his time in law school, while working full-time, he served as a Class Representative for the Student Bar Association. He has 10 years of experience with the Law Firm, working across the areas of planning, administering, and litigating estates.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
Andrew Nef, J.D. works in the Litigation Department and also serves as our firm’s IT Department Manager. He assists in drafting petitions, motions, and other court filings. Andrew earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno and his Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in Business Law. He enjoys spending time with his family, disc golfing and reading.
Andrew Sanchez has worked in our Estate Planning department since 2005. He is responsible for preliminary document drafting and legal research. He is also a Notary Public and facilitates many of the document signing appointments. He enjoys reading, martial arts, and music.
Miranda Fernandez is a Certified Paralegal and Notary Public. She primarily works in the Litigation Department, but assists in other Departments as needed. She earned her Bahelor’s Degree from Arizona State University and is presently an evening student at McGeorge School of Law. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and spending time with her pets.
Bianca E. Marentes is a Certified Paralegal and is assisting in trust and estate administration work. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from CSU Los Angeles and her paralegal certificate from UCLA. Bianca enjoys traveling, running, hiking and her calligraphy projects.
Lindsey Soares works in our Trust Administration & Probate Department as a Certified Paralegal and Notary Public. She received her Paralegal Certificate from UC Davis. Her hobbies are watching football and playing volleyball and board games.
Kasey Sinclair assists in our Estate Planning and Trust Administration Departments. She received her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from MTI College. She’s a mom of two girls. In her spare time, she loves to listen to and watch true crime podcasts/videos, camp, grow giant pumpkins, garden, and watch college softball.
Stacy Grow heads the office’s Marketing Department, including seminars, speaking events, and the firm’s online presence. She is responsible for client correspondence and maintaining business relations. She also manages the office’s philanthropic efforts.
A graduate of Brigham Young University and mother of two girls, Stacy enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and yoga.
Carrie Sim works in our Support Staff Department. She assists with mailing, filing, scanning, and more. She loves crafting and spending time with her family.
Rachael Hutchison is a Legal Assistant and assists in answering phones, handling mail, filing, and other daily tasks. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from CSU Sacramento. Rachael enjoys going to NHL and NFL games, traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Holly Hemond is our Support Staff Department Manager. She oversees our support staff and handles transcription, preparing client files, greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments. Outside of work, she’s the mom of 1 amazing daughter. In her free time she enjoys playing competitive tennis.
Ginnie Kimball manages our HR and Finance Departments. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree. When she’s not taking care of her family of 7, she enjoys staying fit and scrapbooking.
Laura Bouck assists the firm with client billing and manages our HR Department. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. She loves spending time with her family outdoors and volunteering at Sutter Children’s Hospital.
Marissa Damron answers phones, handles the mail, and assists the office with other daily tasks. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and hopes to attend Graduate School in the near future. In her spare time, she works on editing and creating short videos.
